2024-2025 MIFNA Board of Directors Election

Salam members and friends, 

The election process for the 2024-2025 MIFNA Board of Directors will begin on October 14, 2023. The term of the current Board of Directors will end on December 31, 2023. 
 
Lin Adzhar has been appointed the Election Chair by the Board.  She has formed an election committee as follows:
 
1. Lin Adzhar (Chair)
2. Sharina Salehuddin (Member)
 
 Akbal Setia has been appointed the Election Auditor by the Board.
 
The schedule for the election is as follows:
 
Oct 14: Nominations open (nomination forms emailed to eligible voters)
Oct 27: Nominations close  
Nov 3: Electronic voting begins (voting form/ballot emailed to eligible voters)
Nov 12: Electronic voting ends
Nov 13 – 30: Vote count
Nov 30: Election committee signs off on vote count and results. Election auditor completes audit. 
Dec 2: Final results are announced and ratified at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
 
Eligible voters are Family, Individual, and Student members with a minimum of 6 months of membership tenure (have been a MIFNA member before May 2023).
