Dear members and friends,
We are sad to announce the passing of Allahyarham Zulkarnaen Abdullah (Paul Schmudde), beloved husband to MIFNA member Norizan Abdullah Schmudde.
Allahyarham died due to cancer on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024, at 3:25 pm, at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Torrance, CA. He was 76 years old.
Allahyarham left behind his wife, Norizan, son, Sharif, sister, Christine Rosenbach, and brother, David Schmudde.
Viewing and solat jenazah will be on Thursday, Oct 17th, at the Islamic Society of Orange County (ISOC), 1 Al-Rahman Plaza, Garden Grove, CA. Viewing will be from 12 to 1 pm, and solat jenazah will be right after solat Zohor, at 1:15 pm.
Burial will be on Friday, Oct 18th, at 3 pm, at the United Islamic Cemetery, Purple Sage Road, Adelanto, CA 92301. For those who plan to attend the burial, we recommend that you do your Friday prayers at the High Desert Islamic Society, 16793 Merrill Street, Victorville, CA 92395. Khutbah begins at 1 pm. It is a 25-minute drive from the High Desert masjid to the cemetery.
