Death Announcements:

We are deeply saddened to announce the following news:

1. The death of Farok B Sonaan, the father of MIFNA member Liza Farok and father-in-law to MIFNA member Kusairi Awang Ahmad (Kush). Almarhum passed away at 1:05 am on Sunday, January 23, 2022 (local Malaysian time). Almarhum was 75 years old and leaves behind 4 children, 18 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. He is buried next to his wife at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Bandar Bukit Beruntung.

We extend our deepest condolences to Liza, Kush, and family. May God grant the family patience and redha in this time of grief and grant almarhum the highest level of Paradise.

2. The death of our dearest friend and MIFNA member, Sharifah Azizah Syed Mohamed Almashoor, more fondly known among MIFNA members as Kak Sheri. Almarhumah passed away at her home in Oxnard around 6 pm on Sunday, Jan 23, 2022.

We extend our deepest condolences to her husband Doug, her children in the UK, and family members in Malaysia and Singapore. May God forgive all her sins, make spacious her grave, and grant her the highest of Paradise.

Burial arrangements are undergoing, we will announce burial details once confirmed.
