Death Announcement: Allahyarhamah Rohaidah Chehassan
Dear members and friends,
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of MIFNA member and our beloved sister, Rohaidah binti Che Hassan.
Allahyarhamah passed away early this morning, Friday, March 13, 2026 (PST), at her home, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 63 years old. Allahyarhamah is survived by her husband, Kamyar Monjezi, and their three children, Shireen Aida Monjezi-Koochak, Shayda Nabella Monjezi-Koochak and Shahin Faizal Monjezi-Koochak.
Solat Jenazah is planned for today, Friday, March 13, 2026, at Islamic Society of Orange County (ISOC), 1 Al-Rahman Plaza, Garden Grove, CA 92844. Schedule is as follows:
12:00 to 1:00 pm: Viewing at ISOC mortuary
2:20 pm*: Solat Jumaat followed by solat jenazah
* Note that ISOC has two sessions for Solat Jumaat, at 1:05 pm and 2:20 pm. Do take into consideration the parking situation if you plan to attend.
The Monjezi family will have their house open this evening for anyone who wants to come.
