Family Day 2026 Thank You Message
Salam members and friends,
We would like to thank you for your support of MIFNA’s Family Day event, held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at El Dorado Park West Senior Center in Long Beach. More than 150 people attended the event.
We want to thank Anizah Hairudin and Faiez Mazlan for their outstanding efforts and hard work chairing the Family Day committee, and the MIFNA Board of Directors for a smooth execution of the event.
We thank all donors and sponsors who donated generously for the event. Please contact our treasurer at mifnatreasurer@mifna.com if you would like a donation receipt.
We raised enough to cover the event costs and had a surplus of ~$1,700. This surplus will help cover the cost of future MIFNA activities.
We also want to thank the vendors who participated in the lunch pack sale. There was a great variety of authentic Malaysian food to choose from.
Much appreciation to the Joget Malaysia dancers (Rina, Lin, Sasha, Iman, Ros, Dania, Fatin) for their lively opening dance performance at the event.
Congratulations to all winners of the following exciting games:
Balloon Team Relay (1st Place: Dania Fauzi, Iman Chavan and Jonathan Chin)
Kick Ball (1st Place: Akhira Bolton)
Straw Pass (1st Place: Elly Akley and Muzzie Chavan)
Hula Hoop Team Relay (1st Place: Rina Faisal, Elly Akley, Nor Sharif, Muzzie Chavan and Lin Adzhar)
