1st of Shawwal and Hari Raya Aidil Fitri
The 1st of Shawwal and the end of fasting is just a week away. Preparations are already underway to celebrate this most auspicious and joyous day.
MIFNA will be hosting Solat ‘Aidil Fitri followed by brunch on Monday, May 2 at Skyview Event Center, 5257 Wineville Ave, Jurupa Valley, CA 91752.
All MIFNA members and Friends of MIFNA are invited. MIFNA is providing all food for the brunch. Guests are welcome to bring dessert or kuih Raya (Raya cookies) to share.
We are soliciting donations to help defray the costs for MIFNA’s Ramadan and Shawwal events. May we suggest the following donation amounts:
Platinum: ≥$1000
Gold: $500-$999
Silver: $200-$499
Bronze: $100-$199
Donations in other amounts or in ‘kind’ are also welcome. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Main:
Nasi impit (cubed rice), nasi putih (white rice), rendang daging (beef rendang), ayam masak merah bersantan (chicken in spicy, red coconut gravy), lodeh (vegetables, tofu, tempeh in coconut gravy), kuah kacang (peanut sauce).
Vegetarian:
Nasi impit (cubed rice), nasi putih (white rice), rendang nangka (jackfruit rendang), vegetarian lodeh (vegetables, tofu, tempeh in coconut gravy), vegetarian kuah kacang (peanut sauce), mee goreng sayur (vegetarian fried noodles).
Pizza & Noodles:
Pepperoni pizza (halal)
Chicken alfredo pizza (halal)
Cheese pizza
Veggie pizza
Mee goreng udang (shrimp fried noodles)
Mee goreng daging (fried noodles with beef & chicken)
Dessert: Kuih Raya (Raya cookies), cakes and fruits.
Cold and hot drinks will be provided.
Please be aware and observe the following rules/regulations for the event:
1. Registration/sign-in is required at the hall.
2. Facial masks are optional but highly recommended.
3. Please bring your own prayer mat for solat.
4. Smoking or vaping is not allowed on the premises, in the parking lot and at the neighboring Vernola Family Park (Riverside County ordinance).
5. Children must be supervised at all times.
