DESCRIPTION:  \n1st of Shawwal and Hari Raya Aidil Fitri: Sunday\, March 30\nThe 1st of Shawwal and the end of fasting is less than ten days away.  Preparations are already underway to celebrate this most auspicious and joyous day.\n\nMIFNA will be hosting Solat ‘Aidil Fitri followed by brunch on Sunday\, March 30\, at the Skyview Event Center\, 5257 Wineville Ave.\, Jurupa Valley\, CA 91752. \nAll MIFNA members and Friends of MIFNA are invited.  To ensure that we have enough food\, seats and ‘duit raya’ for the kids\, we are asking for RSVP by clicking on this link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/150oJ5ftR8QbdZrN5jq-d8HFbSK9vtsr4QxHNHZzfx3E/preview. DESCRIPTION:Salaam members and friends\, \nOur MIFNA hike/nature walk for July 2025 will be this Sun\, July 13th\, 2025\, at the Sea Trail to Big Canyon Trail\, 6004 Shellmaker Rd.\, Newport Beach\, CA 92660. \nIt is a flat\, 3-mile trail around the coast. We plan to start the hike/nature walk at 9 a.m. sharp. Parking will be on the street along Back Bay Drive. Restrooms are available at the Science Center. \nAn RSVP is greatly appreciated\, so we won’t leave anybody behind in case some of you were to arrive late. DESCRIPTION:  \nSalam members and friends\, \nMIFNA Family Day is on October 12\, 2025\, at the El Dorado Park West Senior Center and Lawn Area\, 2800 N. Studebaker Rd.\, Long Beach\, CA 90815. \nPlease plan to arrive between 11 and 11:30 am. The registration table opens at 11 am\, and food vendors open at 11:30 am. Note that Fried Chicken ala KFC will only arrive after 12 noon. \nWe hope you have pre-ordered your food from the many food vendors selling that day. If not\, please do so soon as some vendors like Sate Abah have sold out and food item like the mee rebus has reached its maximum order quantity. Link for pre-orders is at the bottom of this page. \nThere will be tables and chairs set up in the lawn area\, but you are welcome to bring your picnic chairs and blankets. However\, please leave your cute pets at home. \nZuhur prayers will be at 12:45 pm\, and Games will begin at 1 pm. Please sign up for the games you would like to play at the registration table when you arrive. Delightful prizes await. \nAfter the games are done\, we will assemble at the Senior Center Hall for the opening dance performed by MIFNA ladies and youth. We will have our prize giving and raffles at the hall too.
