MIFNA’s Second Iftar (Buka Puasa): Saturday, Mar 14, 2026

Please join us for MIFNA’s second and last communal iftar (majlis berbuka puasa) for Ramadan 2026.

Please RSVP to Hasnah Hamdan at 949-230-1432 with the number of adults and kids (<12 yrs) in your party. The RSVP deadline is Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Program
6:00 pm: Guests’ Arrival & Registration
6:59 pm: Maghrib/Iftar/Buka puasa
7:20 pm: Solat Maghrib
7:45 pm: Dinner
8:30 pm: Solat Isha’ followed by solat Teraweeh
10:00 pm: Event ends
10:30 pm: Vacate the hall

MIFNA will be providing dates for iftar, food, and drinks for dinner.

Kari Daging & Kentang (beef curry with potatoes)
Ayam Masak Kicap (chicken in soy sauce)
Udang & Kacang Panjang Goreng Kunyit (fried turmeric prawns with string beans)
Stir-fry Mix Vegetables
Sambal Belacan with cucumber
Mee Goreng (fried yellow noodles)
Nasi Goreng (fried rice)
Pizza

Brewed coffee
Hot water, Tea bags, BOH Teh Tarik
Canned soda and Yeo’s boxed drinks (assorted).

Guests are welcome to bring appetizers, desserts, or fruits to share.

Zakat Fitrah

There is still time to pay your zakat fitrah. We want to thank all those who have paid their zakat fitrah to date.  It is $15/person and can be paid online at mifna.com or in person at the iftar to one of the following amil (zakat collector):

1. Faiez Mazlan
2. Amir Lechner

Please pay your zakat fitrah by Sunday, March 15, if possible, so as to enable the zakat committee to distribute the collection to qualified recipients before Eid il Fitri on March 20, 2026.

The zakat committee is now accepting nominations for zakat fitrah recipients.  Please provide the full name and contact information for each recipient nominated.

In the form, please select ‘Other’ for ‘Assistance needed due to’ and type in ‘Zakat’.
