New MIFNA Board 2024-2025 and Happy New Year!
Salaam members and friends, The election of the 2024-2025 MIFNA Board of Directors was conducted in November 2023, and results were ratified at MIFNA’s 17th Annual General Meeting on December 2, 2023. Below is the report from the election chairperson, Lin Adzhar:
- Every position for election had only one nominee who accepted the nomination by MIFNA members; thus, there is no need for members to vote.
- Official election results for the 2024-2025 MIFNA Board of Directors are as follows:
- President – Hasnah Hamdan
- Vice President – Shamsudin Hashim
- Secretary – Rina Faisal
- Treasurer – Anizah Hairudin
- Director 1 – Ishak Japar
- Director 2 – Faiez Mazlan
- Director 3 – Nor Akmaliza Rais
Thank you to the election committee (Lin Adzhar, Sharina Salehhuddin) and election auditor (Mohd Akbal Setia) for conducting a smooth election. The 2024-2025 Board of Directors will have its first board meeting on Jan 7, 2024. Further communication about MIFNA activities, teams, and contacts will be announced after Jan 7. We want to thank the outgoing director, Salina Farkas, for her services on the 2022-2023 Board of Directors.
