Zakat Fitrah and Nomination for Zakat Recipient 2024

Salaam members and friends,
 
MIFNA is collecting zakat fitrah during the month of Ramadan as a service to our members. It is $10.00/person and can be paid online at mifna.com or in person at any of the communal iftars or to the following aamil (zakat collector) and zakat committee members:

1. Sam Hashim
2. Ishak Japar
3. Claude Haston
4. Zain Azhar Arsad

Please pay your zakat fitrah by Friday, April 5, 2024, to enable the zakat committee to distribute the collection to qualified recipients before ‘Aid il Fitri on April 10, 2024.

The zakat committee is now accepting nominations for zakat fitrah recipients.  Please provide the full name and contact information for each recipient nominated. The deadline for nomination is Friday, April 5, 2024.

Zakat is a religious duty for all Muslims who meet the necessary wealth criteria to help the needy. You may also pay your zakat and sadaqah to your local masjid or online to other Muslim charities and organizations such as:
