Death Announcement: Allahyarhamah Latifah Binti Hassan

Dear members and friends,

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Latifah Binti Hassan, beloved mom to MIFNA member, Sharifah Jay, and mother-in-law to Leland Jay.

Allahyarhamah passed away due to old age at 5 am, on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026 (local Malaysia time), at Kampung Sijangkang, Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor, Malaysia.  She was 85 years old.  She has been buried at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Sijangkang.

Allahyarhamah is survived by six children, two sons-in-law, three daughters-in-law, 18 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Our condolences to Sharifah, Leland, Shawati, Latifah, and the rest of Allahyarhamah’s family. May Allah grant them patience and comfort during this time of sorrow.
